Twiga Foods AI

Twiga Foods AI is the machine learning platform powering Kenya's leading B2B food distribution company, which connects rural farmers directly to urban vendors using AI-optimized logistics. Its demand forecasting models predict vendor purchase patterns to optimize collection routes from smallholder farms, reducing post-harvest losses and improving farmer income. Twiga AI's credit scoring models use transaction history and behavioral data to extend working capital loans to informal food vendors who lack traditional credit history, enabling financial inclusion for Kenya's large informal retail sector through AI-powered alternative credit assessment.
